oh Rams. Did they learn nothing from Cleveland?

loool this.

I'm glad they didn't trade 2 1st rounds to upgrade the OL. They just lost a pretty decent G to an ACL tear against us.

I personally would love to add a WR though. That will make our team almost perfect. Would love to get AJ Green (if healthy).

And when we do throw it's spread around. What is shutting down Pettis going to do?

Man, this is a BAD trade for LA.

Even if Ramsey is an All-Pro again, the upgrade over Peters isn't worth what they paid.. The Rams acting like they're gonna be in the SB again this year and just need one more piece. NOPE. More like 2-4 in the division, third place, and no postseason.

And then what? Are they going to give Ramsey $20M/year when he's a UFA in 18 months?
they still think they're in the hunt for a wild card, lol.

I guess we'll see. Got a soft ass schedule coming up. Falcons, Bengals, Steelers. I'll bet it will feel nice.
I also saw that they are in a bidding war with the Browns for T.Williams
They are stuck with long term deals with Gurley, who may have to retire at some point, and Goff, who is a system QB. No first round picks for two years! they are going to be mired in mediocrity. That's not going to sit well in their shiny new stadium. Same old sorry a** Rams.
Now that he is reunited with Blake Bortles, that locker room is going to be fun !!

are we NOT liking the trade because we didn't get THE best cover cornier in football??

the way I see it, the Rams saw that WE are a #1 WR away from dominating the WEST, and the risk of giving up two 1st rounders for him just solidify that they will have someone to cover THAT wideout.

I know this much, our HC just got a sudden headache on how to attack one side of the field ONLY because of Jalen.

LETS ALL KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED AND HOPE FOR THE BEST !!

How did that work out for a deeper Jacksonville defense with Ramsey two years ago?

I'm hoping that you're wise enough to NOT blame their D for not getting to the Super Bowl instead of their QB and the offense.

He's a great player and will certainly elevate their defense, but after the last few weeks if I'm a rams fan I'm more worried about the offense.

If the offense can pull it together they will be dangerous in the playoffs for sure.

All that being said they gave up a s**t ton so they better hope it all comes together for this season. The NFC is tough.

Considering that Peter's was the reason we didn't blow the Rams out(27-7) and he didnt give up a ton of passes and was trading as the 7th best CB according to PFF, this is an odd move.

It wasn't like they just went from Greb Mabin to Darrell Revis.
I hear you. I guess losing Talib sent them into panick mode? I would never give up two firsts for a disgruntled diva- and he's not even locked in for the future lol.

I do think he's significantly better than peters.

He is much better than Peters. My question is, with Talib going on IR, why get rid of Peters now? I think that makes the upgrade/impact even less.

If it's a salary cap issue, I can't believe they couldn't come up with the money somewhere else. Somewhere besides moving a starting CB.

This trade stinks of desperation.

I don't know, I tend to think the league over values late first round picks. The compensation part I don't see as a problem because aren't they losing both corners? As long as they win and don't end up giving away a top ten pick. Not sure how they're going to pay for it but they must have a plan.

That is another issue. They have one great CB and crap at the other spot. Its basically the same situation Arizona has had for years. Teams just ignore Patrick Peterson and go after whoever is opposite him instead.

I meant how did that work out for them against the 49ers?
