Two 1's and a 4 with no deal in place for a Ramsey contract. That sea of Red in the stands during a thumping made their heads spin right off. Rams are dealing themselves right out of future contention while were sitting pretty going forward.

Yeah, we're building the team the right way. No panic signings or contracts that will hurt our future.

Gonna take Ramsey awhile to get into their defense. Seems like such a hasty expensive move that could truly backfire.

[Johnson] One of the reasons Jalen Ramsey requested a trade from the Jaguars was because he was frustrated playing zone defense. The Rams have run zone defense 66% of the time this season, which is the 4th highest total in the NFL
Lol.

Is this due to not having faith in Peters and Talib? Or is that what Phillips chooses to run regardless?

Panicked and Desperation
this has nothing to do with this year. A major market team got a major market player. this is for next year and the following years..
Rams open new stadium next year and will be winners again. this year they just take a back seat to Niners.
lol ok with what money having their cap tied up to 4 players and no 1st round picks to fix their major weakness that pathetic oline. Keep living in a fantasy world, this move is all about desperation and winning now, snead can care less about the future and it shows. You act as if this is the MLB and theres no cap that all of a sudden with a new stadium that gets filled mostly with opposing big name teams fan bases is going to allow the rams to pay everyone
Dont bother. He thinks that the nfl is actually scripted and players fall down on purpose to miss tackles. And that players are trained actors. This is what he actually believes, not making this up lol, wish i was.

Ramsey may be the best corner in the league ( debatable ) but 9 INT's in 3 years is not a game changer. I'll take a pass rusher that puts constant pressure on the QB or an O lineman that can protect the QB and open some running lanes. His effect on the number of wins will be minimal and may actually hurt this team in the long run. Compare getting Ford who is really helping to improve the pass rush for a 2nd rounder and Ramsey for two 1st's and a 4th. Tell me who got the better deal. Thank you Lynch for not pursuing this guy.

Besides just being dumb, I wonder if McBae got paranoid...
Maybe they heard the cawks were very interested in making a trade for Lamsey
OR maybe even Niners leaking fake stuff on purpose on Lamsey

This is great news for the three other NFC West teams. Gurley contract looks horrible. Goff contract is possibly horrible. They got rid of Peters for a linebacker that barely played for the Ravens. Tlalib is often injured, and getting long in the tooth. Since, none of the division teams have an apex predator #1 receiver his effectiveness is muted in the division. Plus, his expected future contract is going to be huge. The Rams which I was thinking they are going to be tough for a long time. McVay, doesn't seem able to make game time adjustments. The Rams defense played well enough to win the Super Bowl, but the offense was pathetic. The Rams offense looks really mediocre right now.

We don't have one...which could be a glass half full of us spreading the ball around the field away from him, especially with Kittle, the RBs and OW.

I think the glass is topped off by not having a #1 receiver. We have a go to guy in Kittle and role players who fit the scheme and that's all you need to be successful in the NFL.
