That is not how UFA works. Literally every year lesser dudes get paid the same or more than superior players in prior years. Why even bother? It happens every. single. year.

I didn't say he is better than Donald. I said he has the chance to get mega paid in the offseason.

IMO the high end for AA is a Trey Flowers deal ( 5yrs $90M $56M GTD) and low end is Sheldon Richardson (3 yrs $37M $15M GTD) possibly something in-between. He could take a shorter deal like Richardson with more GTD cash then what Richardson got, bet on himself and will be like 28 when he hits FA again (when there's even more cash).

I can see a three year deal. But I would think he'd only take that if it was mostly guaranteed.

lol yeah I understand FA pretty well...that mostly happens with QBs not every single position is treated the same.

What lesser guys got paid more than Mack this passed off season? What lesser DT got paid more than Donald after he got his contract? Outside of Mack, what lesser edge rusher has gotten more GTD cash then Von Miller (who signed his contract back in 2016)?

You said $80M GTD lol that's IMO is not realistic.
