No way. Can that stat be right? 130 2 + blockers for Bosa 200 for Armstead? No way. That's just wrong. How can that possibly be?

I'm assuming because he rushed from the interior much more than most of those true edge rushers. It's another reason why AA is important to this DL. He can play inside/outside and is damn good vs the run as well.

If Armstead and Buckner are so dominant, why was the defense average vs the run? If the team is going to pay annually 12 mil to Kwon, 15 mil to Ford and 15-20 mil to Armstead and Buckner, I'm expecting a lot more from the front 7.

The defense was better than average against the run, A lot of the yardage gained against them came from the QBs scrambling to escape the pass rush. We faced the 3 best running QBs 5 times. We were among the best teams in the league at stopping 3rd and 4th down plays with short yardage.(2 yards or less) We did give up some plays up the middle when teams knew we were trying to stop the pass, so they would run it up the gut. I would prefer to give up some short runs up the middle instead of a lot of long pass plays.
