If the article on this page is right, the best we could do with Armstead is about a $9 million cap hit if the contract is worked out right. Franchising him would cost about $15.5 million against the cap so that is out of the question.

Meh I trust AB much more than anyone else and he's said we can get him signed no problem.

Agree that paying four guys on the line is pretty insane. Question for the football brains out there; if we rolled with Blair how much of a drop-off is there? I feel like Blair is versatile and flashed a bit last year. Would like to see him with more playing time.

If you don't think Armstead is worth a top DL contract, maybe you will after you see what he did to Cohn and that beast writer poser today.

He's probably a top 10-15 interior. This year he played like a top 10 for sure I guess with his Calais Campbell effect on games will be great for this defense going forward

10-15 interior I may agree and that's also the most I'd offer him.. 10 to 15 million a year..

the question then will be, if he again plays better than Bucko next season, HOW MUCH do you then OFFER Bucko ??
