When will the Niners make their final decision As to what to do with AA? What needs to happen to get AA signed up, or not?

I think AA would do us a solid though and at least choose a team out of division if we decide to trade him.

Franchise tag and keep him. We can keep him for 1 year.

Sign him long term and restructure some contracts.

AB, I put this in one of the topics on the FA forum but see you on this post way more and wanted your take. Could you see the plan I have listed below unfolding and being realistic with the cap? I thought a restructuring of Jimmy G's deal was gonna be automatic.
I'm also thinking the FO could just be keeping the league guessing by waiting to do JGs restructuring until after the combine.
Here's how I see it unfolding, team says we're not planning on any other restructures but extensions, cuts/trades will create some room:
McKinnon- Hes either cut soon or has a massive redo of his deal that says us a bunch of money.
Goodwin- If he's not traded immediately when rules allow it, ie. if we don't find a trade at the combine he's gonna be cut
Person-see Goodwin, plan will be to replace with Brunskill or a mid round pick we get by trading down from 31
Extensions to Buckner, Juice & Sherman will lower their cap numbers for this year
Ward- Niners will let him test FA & the same thing will play out that it did last year, nobody is gonna pay him top dollar & he returns on a decent deal for both sides.
Sanders- Team will not let him walk, giving up a 3 & 4 for him was too much for a rental, we end up with a 3 year deal for him.
AA- Cali guy, Buckners best friend and college teammate. Both sides want to see this workout. He'll get the tag at first while sides work on a deal that ends up being 3-4 years.
Other internal FAs- Day is gone, Blaire will be back, valuable rotation piece and coming off an ACL his market will be low, Moore, Bourne, Wilson, Mullins, all back. The team won't keep both Brieda and Coleman. If they can afford to keep Coleman they will, if not, Brieda will walk.
FA- Zero big name deals done but we'll see a player or 2 added on "prove it" deals.
31- Trade down and we BPA all the way.

Goodwin is too expensive for what he lacks to bring, I think Sanders is back, plus Deebo, Bourne, Pettis, Hurd(IR/DFR), Taylor and James are likely IMO.
If those are the 7 wrs we keep and release/trade Goodwin then hopefully we trade beathard bc we probably can't keep 3 qbs. I know they increase the roster size by two spots but I'm thinking if we draft a good receiver one of those seven ass to go and it might be between Dante and James

It's a lock. He's staying.
I think there is a good chance the 49ers keep him https://t.co/AZIyXFixF7

Wish simms was more consistent with giving 49ers insight. He had that 1 year where he correctly called 3 or so 49ers draft picks but since then he doesn't really talk niners or shanahan
