Im all for keeping this monster DL together, but I just hope this wasn't a contract year mirage from Armstead.

Its going to get really expensive to keep him, Buckner, and Ford. The sketchy part is, as much as we pay our DL, its only worth it if Ford is healthy and playing well. Otherwise we saw what Bosa, Buckner, and Armstead did by themselves. Not too much. That makes me nervous. If Ford keeps getting hurt, we're going to be sinking a crap ton of our cap into a pass rush that is missing its X factor.

Understandable. With Ford, this is the most expensive LDE position in the game. Like $32M+

Compare that to Bosa at $8.3M who's doing both their jobs in one person.

Since AA plays in and out would that be more like 24+? I mean a sizeable chunk of his snaps come inside.

Going to be so pissed if he signs somewhere else and the niners didn't franchise and trade him, I understand niners get a come pick for next year but we need that pick this year !
