Its UP TO $85M which means a ton of money will be tied to pro bowls, all pros and other incentives. In short, his actual cap hit, I'm guessing is going to really be around $15-16M and they may lower it a ton this year to get under the cap.

i think it would have been tough to replace armstead's versatility and capability on the inside and outside of the line for this team. he was healthy and took a leap so he deserves this. i am thinking the actual guaranteed $ will be more reasonable. if i had to choose between ward + sanders or armstead only, i'd choose armstead. have to draft safety now, right?
