I like Armstead as a depth guy, but we have Street coming back making nothing, plus we have Blair+Day as depth guys as well. Personally I would want Armstead gone, if it was either him gone, or us paying him 9 million. That 9 million could be used on an actual difference maker like a Earl Thomas. Earl Thomas would give us that elite FS we need, with Tartt as the thumper at SS, our secondary would be looking pretty good, especially if we land Boas as our LEO to give us a pass rush.
Blair and Day don't play the same position as Armstead. Signing earl thomas sounds nice as long as you ignore that he's broken his leg in back to back years. Also the niners are not getting bosa, the Rams game is a guaranteed win.

Well that's a silly comment. You have no idea if they will be resting their starters for one. And considering we're playing plenty of backups on a much less talented team there's no telling we'd win even if they did play their backups.

The $9 million makes him untradeable.

That makes that $9 mil even uglier than it looked like.

best case scenario is he gets cut before the deadline, but i don't see that happening with this staff.

He is getting extended. Best player on the defense according to the PFF Gods

You mean who else is as good as PFF at faking grades?

How can anyone take them seriously when they continuously change their methods and the ones they have are more often then not based on opinion and even then it's pretty bad.
From what I've read, the NIners will probably try to restructure his contract so he isn't making that $9 million but will probably average $6-7 mil over multiple years. If they can make that happen, I'm cool with it. AA is getting better and although he may never make a Pro Bowl, he is a solid player and for this team, which is still trying to acquire talent, it is good to keep those guys. Right now, he is probably playing like a mid third round pick. Hopefully, next year he will be even better.

Cheers!

Services? Are there even any others?

Exactly. People love to discredit them, but having nothing better to compare it to.

Almost every NFL team subscribes to their service, so obviously they think it's pretty accurate.

I wonder how many of those NFL subscriptions are because Chris Collinsworth got down on his knees and begged??
