He should feel bad. He's being paid a lot of money to make plays Like that. I'd feel bad too If I dropped a pass that went straight through my hands. Overall, I think he's a decent player, but It's a little concerning with the lack of Interceptions from our safeties.

Put on the Tartt play vs the Packers Aaron Jones then the Ward pick six vs Stafford. It's like we've cloned Ronnie Lott twice.

That pick would have brought a lot of momentum. Pumped up the team & their half(+) of the crowd. Would have been a second INT rattling around in Stafford's noodle.

Is it the single reason for the loss? No. No single play ever is. Could it have made a huge impact? Yeah, most turnovers do.

This x 1000

Turnovers are the BIGGEST factor in determining wins/losses, NOT solid coverage. People need to really understand this concept. It's a fact and to settle for a solid safety or safeties isn't the right way to build a SB team.

While there may be more pressing needs, our biggest weakness's are pass protection and secondary play (especially generating turnovers).

I think its a need, but not an immediate one. CB, edge rusher, OL, more immediate needs. You can win a ton of games with Tartt and Hufanga backing him up. The way I look at it, they have plenty of needs as it is, no reason to create new ones.

Yeah, Tartt is gonna be cheap. He's gotta be a lock to come back.

Won't be necessary, he's a FA I believe .
He catches that interception and we likely win the game.

We advance to the Super Bowl.

We beat the Bengals before.

Bengals O Line matches up terribly with our front 7.

Highly likely Super Bowl win. #6.

Na. He catches that ball, we go 3 and out. Punt it back to the Rams who score a TD or FG to either take the lead or tie it.

I say Jimmy G pick 6...no need for the 3 and out

This. And when Jimmy throws that int on 3rd down late in the 4th quarter, that actually sets up the rams to win the game in a heart breaking fashion

nah both teams were looking for any type of energy and momentum plays. We missed ours, right after they get that big 3rd down and add the penalty. They never looked back after that. Had Stafford threw that pick then pressure gets to him and the Rams would be reaching for straws. It is what its is at the end of the day though.
The Jimmy G of safeties.
He will never make up for his mistakes, injuries etc our 60th overall needs to be secondary
