Yeah, this is why you're seeing a number of mocks with a S going high to us.

Don't be. The S market is oversaturated like the DL market. It wouldn't surprise me if they resign him and a couple more super cheap veterans before the start of mandatory mini camp. I think we signed like 6 of them last year including Tartt.

How much room do we have to sign FAs while Jimmy is still on the team?

Now if only he wasn't late in coverage and could make a play on a ball, that'd be great.
That doesn't happen as much as you try to make it seem.
Even if not he was late on the TD that got the Rams right back in it immediately after going up 2 scores and again, the dropped INT in the 4Q. Both Ward (esp.) and Tartt had poor playoffs. When the only play maker you have in the back 7 is K'Waun Williams, you've got issues. They're nearly dead last in INT's...again. Remember the record breaking season in lows on turnovers? You aren't winning a Championship with those kinds of players. The Rams caught their INT to seal it. Tartt dropped it. And I appreciate him taking responsibility.
If either he or Ward could generate turnovers WHILE playing sound (and they didn't in the playoffs), they'd be dynamic and big reasons we'd get over the hump.
Oh well. The FO continues to stick with them year after year.
They stick with them because they do their job and do it well and stick to their assignments .

I'd offer him the vet minimum and let him test free agency. If someone signs him we may get a comp pick. If not he comes back and competes with Huf and Brisker (rookie) who we will draft.

About $700K but with a vet minimum, he won't count against the 51 IIRC.

The sad part is we can't even afford to pay him vet Min right now lol.
