When he came up I thought he would be the enforcer, I was wrong. A lollypop interception that puts us in the Super Bowl..............dropped. Goodbye.

Other than this one play, overall he was fine when he played. Good size, decent cover skills on TEs. He was just always hurt and more of a part time player.

He was a very solid safety and made allot of great in the box plays to force fourth down. Unfortunately he trended more like a great undersized linebacker with coverage skills but couldn't get an interception that wasnt handed to him. Even then... we know how he ended his career here.

But still probably a better SS than half the teams in the league have. Edit: Injuries not withstanding, but thats the rub lol.

him and Eric Reid both never lived up to what we all thought they would be. Both however, far succeed major bust Mays.
I still like Tart. Just because he didn't have much wow plays doesn't mean he wasn't contributing like a starter. Still replaceable but not by much imo

Let's try not to remember Taylor Mays.

Move this thread. What kind of loser drops an uncontested interception?

Shanny still would have found a way to lose.

Nah, Stafford would of thrown a 3rd int. After all, he led the league in ints and pick 6's
Only a matter of time before he reunites with Baalke in Jacksonville.

over valued by the niner fan base... good riddance.

Maybe outside of WZ but I don't remember seeing anyone post that he is an elite player. He's solid but definitely replaceable. Let's see what he have in Moore and hufanga
he is not even solid.. obviously the niners agreed with me cuz he is gone thank god
You guys agreed on this for 6 years, got it
Just got cut by the eagles.

Is he better than Gipson or T Moore? If yes, bring him back.

I am curious why the Eagles are releasing him. Did he play that badly? Did somebody unexpected show out in pre-season? They signed him this off-season and I figured they did that because they needed a safety. But now they are going to cut him?

Bad scheme fit?

Tartt struggled to get acclimated to defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon's scheme and was spotty in coverage throughout the preseason. He missed several days in training camp due to personal reasons, causing him to fall on the depth chart -- and never recovered.
