This guy is vastly superior to hayne as a RB. He's also good in pass pro as beat writers mentioned during camp.

Can we please stop with the feel-good stories and do what's best for the team??

Davis will get carries Sunday and will outshine hayne, you heard it right hurrr

You seriously think the Niners are putting Hayne out on the field just to try to generate some publicity? I mean, seriously?

No.

Not at all. I'm talking about the posters who want to continue riding the hayne plane

Well, some of them are Aussies and you can't really blame them. For myself, I have seen both players in the pre seasons and obviously Hayne in game 1, and I like them both. I think they have different strengths. I can't agree that Davis is "vastly superior" though. Hopefully they both have a future with us.

Hayne has earned the hype imo. Yes it's a great, feel good story but I feel his performance on the field has been outstanding.

I think Hayne must have slept with your girlfriend or something Susweel. You bash on him every chance you get..

I really like hayne. But there's something about the suddenness and wiggle of Davis that makes me feel he's better suited to running the ball. By vastly superior I guess I'm leaning on his superior experience with running the ball, which probably encompasses at least 8 years or more in football situations.

On Haynes 9 yard run I saw him turn sideways and skinny up thru the hole. That's a rugby move. He didn't square up. I do want both to get carries, I just want Davis to get more carries.

really does not matter as long as its best for the team. i happen to think both davis and hayne have a nice and productive future for us. of course some posters who have agendas against certain players for whatever reasons, no names mentioned but their initials are sus and big daddy, just set around and hope that hayne will fail so it can justify their dislike for the guy,,,,,, in my opnion

but of course out of the other side of your mouth, you breathlessly shrill he was benched due to a fumbled punt. why else would you say something that was proved untrue by the coaches? oh wait,,,,, unless you said that just to provoke and tweak the many fans hayne has on the zone?? NO! NOT SUS,, THE ETERNAL VICTIM!!!

I just said I really like hayne but feel Davis is superior. What's so bad about that CC?

In fact, I really like Hayne as a 3rd down back where he can get swing passes in space and make something happen. I just don't want him inbetween the tackles trying to squeeze thru holes that Davis might work better. Just my two cents CC!
love me some mike davis, but let's be real...

he aint no thomas clayton or kory sheets

I agree, I'd rather trust the guy who's been playing the position and has the experience than the guy who's only been doing it a few months.

ok,, i am sorry i lumped you in with sus. that was a terrible thing to do to someone sure it was only four carries the other night but the kid showed potential, he covered up the ball well, churned forward and tried to get positive yards. we could have done a heckuva lot worse as an option the other night. overshadowed in all of this is a shout out to the coaches who went in with a game plan involving reggie, that got thrown out the window,, they had to adjust and the team responded in kind. great to see our team and coaches all on the same page for the first time in over a year in my opinion. i am excited to see davis in real time, if reggie sets and if davis gets the call sunday
