This guy is vastly superior to hayne as a RB. He's also good in pass pro as beat writers mentioned during camp.
Can we please stop with the feel-good stories and do what's best for the team??
Davis will get carries Sunday and will outshine hayne, you heard it right hurrr
THIS
really does not matter as long as its best for the team. i happen to think both davis and hayne have a nice and productive future for us. of course some posters who have agendas against certain players for whatever reasons, no names mentioned but their initials are sus and big daddy, just set around and hope that hayne will fail so it can justify their dislike for the guy,,,,,, in my opnion

reggie didnt make the trip to PITso its pretty much 100% that davis is suiting up and is probably going to take over the 3rd down back role. He is a fantastic receiver and is experienced in swing passes.

Just wanted to know because i would like to put him in a draftking lineup with hyde so im just checking if anyone has better info on it

well, so far all of our rookies who played were very good led by tartt so lets see what the kid can do. for everything there is a begging. if he does some special things, that does not mean the end of reggie on our team this year in my opinion. I know how the zone works, if the kid busts out a monster run or game, then some will want to trade reggie on monday morning

Would like to see what he can do this Sunday. I'm sure the coaches will have him ready to go.

Haha-ain't that the truth. Bush is a change of pace back and in his few appearances during pre he looked good. Next year the niner's will draft his replacement, right now he ain't going no where cause he is different from the other three backs.

uhhmmm..... too soon... even if Davis shows some sparks, I dont thin Reggie goes any where this year... heck we all know what he can do, Davis on the other hand will have to prove it on a weekly basis..
Plus, Bush is a better pass catcher and a better athlete.. he's gonna be here for the year.

Davis should get the nod over Hayne IMO.
Maybe there is somthing up with Davis.

Davis is closer to Hyde's running style than Hayne is. Hayne is closer to Bush's style. So it likely has more to do with the types of running plays they want the #2 (usually Bush) to run from.
