Lol so they both sucked. Davis is words better at pass blocking. While Hayne offers ST. I highly doubt they dump a 2nd year player who had a handful of carries for a 29 yr old in his 2nd season playing football ever.

We will see.
Yeah if anything you roll with Hyde, Davis and Taylor.

Hayne, Harris and Draughn are on the outside looking in. Of the 3 I think Harris has the edge, while Hayne has the "potential", Draughn just earned himself a chance. He worked his tail off last season although he did some good things, it wasnt all that spectacular.

I agree with this...the last spot will be between those three and most likely they won't be active on game day. They could get wild and see what Foster is up to

Wow no love for Shaun Draughn?? getting cut left and right, thrusted from FA to starter 0-100 real quack. NEVER took a snap off... was a grinder

I believe he was the first running back to play 100% of offensive snaps in a game (?)

But I dig him. He has a poor mans Arian foster feel to him
Kilgore seems to be stoked about Gabbert, WR's and RB's (tempo and style):

seems like the guy who is always counted out but keeps bringing his lunch pail to work. good competition back there. a healthy hyde. more experience in hayne and davis, nice rookie. two guys who did better than anyone thought last year. i have been told we supposedly have the best running backs coach in the nfl so we should see some good things in this area behind a much better offensive line. jim plunket found out in 76 that a sound running game with delvin and wilbur is a quarterbacks best friend.

@ 18:10

he must work for trent.
oh and you post to much here
oh and you use to many words
Have no idea idea how good our RB will be. They were all injured last year. There's no recent history to gauge them. How 'bout just not getting injured and be on the field first. Baby steps.
If Taylor can pass protect better, that could all but push Davis off the team.

I still think that Hyde, Davis and Taylor are the most likely group of RBs. Davis can provide some of that power running in between the tackles that Kelly was aiming for with Murray last year but then their OL fell apart. Good idea, bad execution.
