He has great acceleration and can make people miss. He is also powerful. Did you guys see the straight arm he made on that guy? This guy really does have it all. He also catch is very very well. The best on the team at catching the football. I thought last year he was slow but boy was I wrong.
Pre season means nothin
Can't believe I am saying that to a veteran poster....

All of his preseason runs don't mean a thing if he can't hold onto the ball. Arrow way down. If he fumbles again this preseason he may be done.

IIRC, his fumbles came when running inside. I was originally wondering if he had the power to go inside, but I guess now fumblitis is the concern.

Fumbles from down under...oh wait.
Can't learn 20 years football in a season...oh wait
Pre season means nothing right...right
Though I had hoped davis would step it up this year, seems it services as usual.

Not a good game at all. He wasnt a guy who fumbled a lot in college. Now isnt the time to start.

Fumbles all over the place last night.
Must focus on this in practice.

I'm not worried about the fumbles at this point. Rathman will be all over that. And every time Davis gets his hands on the ball now, defensive guys will be even more focused on causing a fumble, so he's got two practice games to go through that kind of challenge. Draughn also had a fumble because he was loose with the ball. People have to remember that this is only the second live action they've gone through this year.

Easy. Just wire the ball to scrotal electrodes. If the circuit is broken when the ball is fumbled...something bad happens. Pretty soon the RBs will hang on to that ball like they'd be hanging on to a railing suspended above the Grand Canyon.

I've noticed over the years that when a guy starts to fumble, and starts to worry about it, he loses some of his explosiveness and daring by just being more careful...won't fight for the extra yard like they did before. Not sure if Davis has enough talent to "turn it down a notch."
