To me, he looks bad in the preseason. But what else would I expect from a 7th round rookie tackle?

The length of his arms (36") had such an effect on that play. Simply pushed Hardy twice, kept the distance, and Hardy was neutralized.

If Brown turns out to be a steal and a solid RT and Anthony Davis comes back next season, I wonder what the team should do.
They couldn't trade Davis because nobody would want a quitter on the team. Davis has never played guard, so I don't know if he could replace Boone at RG. I think he probably could, but you never know.

Have you been highlighting him at all or are you focused on the safety? B/c while he was late on the safety he still had the long arms to push the DE out wide but Thompson didn't step up in the pocket...in fact, he stepped right BACK into the safety. Other than that, he's looked very good to me. Maybe you saw something we haven't?

All I know is that man throws a huge shadow, and what I have seen so far just makes him better and better. Just standing there he is tough to get around. The play above all I saw was making the right moves, not even considering how big a man he is. Sometime this yr, maybe sooner than later, I bet he starts...and stays there. Talk about fixing the R side of the OL in a hurry....that would be it. Lots to learn, but same goes for all.
