I'd start Brown over Pears at this moment.
If Brown is a stud and AD comes back, you move someone inside to the other guard spot

Brown isn't ready to play tackle and anybody that watches games should know that but I think he should've been tried at guard where his quick feet and size would've made him an excellent run blocker.

I dont want to but i do trust brown because he has the CAPABILITY; pears does not.
For brown, it will be a trial by fire. He will be forced to rise to the occasion by both his peers and his opponents. But the fact remains, light a fire under browns butt and he CAN make plays; do the same on pears and he still gets beat because he lacks the physical/athletic capability to win play-to-play.

From what I heard on knbr, is pears is starting because of his experience and knowledge. Even though he might get beat...it wouldn't be a mental break down but physical.
While brown could miss an assignment and get kaep killed

Totally agree with that part. However, I don't think anyone would trade for him because they would have to risk him retiring again. The 49ers are already on the hook for that risk, so it's 49er or retirement for AD.
It's the same reason that if Chris Borland came back & wanted to play he wouldn't have any trade value.
I think GB would kill for Borland. Bring him home and hope he sticks. You're right about trades though. I think CB talked his value way down and I can't ever see him playing again. AD will have a market if we tried to trade him I believe. Rex Ryan is in love with him
Good insights Pillbusta!
Business and personal relationships are built on Trust.
Borland has flushed that down the toilet w/his media remarks.
Rex would love AD and IMO, AD has lots of trade value.
I'm very curious how Trent adapts to the pro game and especially how he improves in pass protection.

Pears is going to get Kap killed.. He is that bad. It's going to be a torturous season unless we fix the right side of the OLINE. I can not believe Baalke is sleeping well at all.. THE NIGHTMARE!!!

Brown needs more work, you don't do that to a QB

I do believe by the end of the season Brown will be the starting right tackle & be playing well.
