Hope he didn't pack on extra pounds like Buster did lol.

I heard he tweets a lot, but no tweets about staying in shape. (I can't confirm that but I'm sure we would hav heard about it by now)

Boone should be a part of the packer (Reid & Boone) trade during the off-season.. if Davis do comeback, let him ease his way in at the RG position..

Lmao at trading Reid.

So he will need to put back some pounds and get ready to play guard.

That's good to hear. Actually, it kind of makes sense because it's unnatural for these dudes to maintain 320+ pounds. I remember reading about Alan Faneca, that dude lost a ton of weight immediately after he stopped playing.

Hoping Davis comes back in great health and is ready to factor into the RT spot or one of the guard spots. We're going to need him.
I've always wanted him to play G since he just has the perfect body and playing style for that spot. He is a monster in the run game with heavy feet. Obviously a very good RT but I think he would be an All Pro RG.

Because Reid is too valuable to trade? Or because teams won't give anything significant for him?

If Davis comes back and they move him to guard, I think he needs to play om the left side. Let Tiller & Thomas battle it out for the RG spot.

I'm in favour of trading Staley though if Davis comes back. Davis can play LT.
What was kind of funny was that it appeared to me that Gabbert would scramble right as if Pears was still out there letting his guy inside every time.

Brown needs to say in the huddle, "Bro...I'm here now. You can relax. Stay in the pocket. "

Why would you trade him anyways?

No, I rather put Davis at RG. He's used to of playing that side and I love the Staley/Tiller duo in run blocking.

Sure Thomas could compete it out, but why not compete with both of them? Why just give Davis the job automatically?

I like the idea of Davis at LG as well. Boone looks like he'll leave in FA. Davis could be a more long-term answer at LG if he comes back committed.

Next year we could be looking at Stale-Davis-Kilgore-Tiller-Brown. Not too shabby on paper.

Switch Tiller and Davis and you've got it.

I only say that because Davis is used to the right side and Tiller is working at LG (in anticipation of Boone bolting).

I'm cool with that too. The Guard spot is more interchangeable than the tackle spots, so no problem with Tiller at LG, Davis at RG. Can easily be done, and Tiller has shown he's versatile enough to play both sides.

Why not? Particularly if we address O-line in free agency. I think there is no way we can pass on Jared Goff if he's available.

For sure. Too bad it took all year to develop a couple keepers and get Kilgore healthy.
