Terrell Owens Thread: Hall of Fame?

what would be a better is finding a lot of players current and retired that turned analyst throw people under the bus. Since you and homer believe that is the Norm.

So what you are saying is that current analysts who are former players never speak negatively about a player? Have you every watched an NFL show before?

Michael Irvin does this regularly. Deion Sanders does this regularly. Troy Aikman does this regularly. Everyone does it regularly. However, when TO speaks negatively about someone, a federal case is made.

And for the record, the phrase "throw people under the bus" is a phrase that very few use correctly. You dont. The poster who started this didnt.

I will let you have the last word now. Enjoy.

Last I checked, Terrell Owens is a retired NFL player. He was asked his opinion on the job status of a current NFL head coach in an interview and he gave it. That's all he did. If that's throwing someone under the bus, then every single retired football player turned analyst has thrown dozens of guys under the bus. You're just providing more proof that T.O. is held to a different standard than everyone else.
that is incorrect

Care to expand on how any of that is incorrect?
i see there isn't a concern to expand what he posted.

but no current or retired players do what TO has done. which is throw people under. Look at all the players that took the high road when asked about TO

Yeah figured you wouldnt be able to come up with a response that had any substance. I'd ask you to expand on your new statements as well, but I am sure you wont be able to just like you werent able to backup the first thing I asked you to expand on.

Thanks though.

Are you saying retired players never criticize the coaches of their former teams when asked about them by sports radio hosts? LOL

If TO is held to a different standard, it's his own doing.

If you want to correct people, have the grace to include your view. Wiki's opinion is:

To throw (someone) under the bus" is an idiomatic phrase in American English meaning to betray a friend or ally for selfish reasons. It is typically used to describe a self-defensive disavowal and severance of a previously-friendly relationship when the relation becomes controversial or unpopular."

If there isnt a pre-existing relationship you are just bad-mouthing someone.
