It seems that some of you werent paying close attention in 2003, or werent fans yet. Owens spit directly into the face of the 49ers' franchise on his way out the door. He was a total A-Hole that threw a tantrum to get traded after his agent screwed up the free agency paperwork. The Ravens offered us a better pick, but he refused to go there, and told us we had to trade him to Philly.
Bill Walsh told Owens he needed to work on dropping less passes, and Owens said Walsh doesnt know what hes talking about.
Theres a reason we gave number 81 away the very next year after the 2nd best WR in 49ers history departed.
Owens burned his bridges big time. He blatantly insulted the 49ers, and Bill Walsh.
Screw that guy. You guys with your fond memories are forgetting the whole story.

I liked Terrell Owens before the catch against Green Bay. After that he became a douche. He needs mental help and I hope he eventually gets it.
He was such a nice, humble guy when he first came into the league. He literally was Willie Beamen from Any Given Sunday.
I may not care for him, but he was a very hard worker and a great player who was a blast to watch play.
On NFL Total Access Thursday, Hall of Famer Michael Irvin expressed his frustration on why Owens decided not to attend.
"It's not about the voters. Don't give the voters the pleasure of knowing that they meant that much to you that when you finally got in, you're not even showing up," Irvin said. "And the whole while you campaigned about being in. When he did not get in, he and I were shooting a commercial together one time and he came to the commercial with a Hall of Fame gold jacket with all of his records on it. So you went and made a made-up gold jacket , but you won't show up to get the real gold jacket? It's something beyond my capabilities of understanding up here."
Probably the most intelligent thing the "Playmaker" has ever said. Spot on, Irvin.

I'm on TO's side on this... people want to play politics, they didnt like his attitude so they made him wait? f**k that.
This is TO's middle finger to all of those people, screw them.
TO is one of the greatest of all time at his position. He's a first ballot HOFer, end of story. Y'all can cry about his attitude until the cows come home but TO deserves to be in it.
As many have already said it's not about the voters/media. The voters/media are not in the HOF. The players and coaches and owners are. He's flipping off a brotherhood of the highest caliber of which he is now a member.
just wait for the XFL or that other league starting next year. imagine TO catching passes from Tebow, with Singletary as the HC. tell me you wouldn't watch
