yup. he wanted the elite status, he asked for it...that's the difference between a Jerry and a TO, Jerry didn't have to ask or want it, it was given to him willingly.

What really floors me after reading that is that he expects this preferential treatment after the fact. After he burned all bridges on his way out. He seems to be incapable of associating him being snubbed a bit by the way he behaved. He was suspended by a coach, big whip. He publicly questioned Garcia's sexuality in a derogatory manner, he openly sparred with coaches on the sideline, he behaved like a spoiled brat in front of the media.
