Do you take AD or Borland back if they Un-retire?

Hell no to both!

Davis heard this and said, "Eff that...I have concerns about my brain now. If you guys look good this year though, I'll come back."

Martin, who had what can politely be called a Rubenesque build when he started eight games at center as a rookie last season, has a leaner look this year in both body and face. Last year, he said, he played in the 330-pound range. He is currently in the 320s with the intention of getting into the three-teens by the start of the season.

Martin, 21, said he worked out with tight end Vernon Davis during the offseason, and he credits Davis for rounding him into the best shape of his life.

"It's a whole different mentality, a whole different level of fitness," Martin said. "Coming in, coach (Jim) Tomsula told us that he was going to be the only fat guy in the room. And that hit home: You had to get in shape and get right."

Martin has been lining up at all three spots on the interior offensive line and is ostensibly competing for a starting spot at all three. He also could end up as the team's emergency backup at either guard spot or center.

His new fitness level is a necessity this season. Tomsula has stressed a fast-paced tempo by the offense, and incoming offensive line coach Chris Foerster wants his pupils to be mobile above all else."He wants his guys moving, flying, you know?" Martin said. "Every play, you line up and get off the ball. That's his biggest thing: Don't hesitate, don't pause. There's no slowing down with him; there's only speeding up."

Make them finish their obligation then trade them to the jags.
Never in my life heard of back n forth for young bucks in the league, maybe for older guys whove earned some cache.

Case in point, someone in Cowboys' position has earned the right to think about if he wants to "take a break" or stay retired. Someone with Mark Schlereth's injury history comes to mind also.

For me, if either AD or the T-rex change their mind, them and their wishy washyness can kick rocks bruh. Id pass.

Id take AD back, I get the feeling he is kind of regretting his suspension (pure speculation through twitter). Prob found out how easy life is with Tomsula.. Doe

Borland can GTFO... He had ideas toward leaving year 1 and never let it known?
Then you retire right after Willis??

AD also quit at a bad time, but I don't think he had a pre-emptive plan like Borland...
Sure, if they can come back and play at their previous level or better, I see no reason to not at least give them a shot.

I think his body was still mangled from that bad shoulder injury, the hamstring injury, and the concussion. He started 64 games straight, and 2013 almost entirely injured.(lol @ people who take office work off with the common cold and call him a p***y). If he comes back ill take him back because he is talented and there are teams that dont even have one good tackle, let alone two. This is a business, you take differences makers like AD when you can.
I respect Borland's decision to retire, but at the same time, f**k him.

Passing on re-signing Iupati was one of the best decisions Baalke ever made. Can't pass protect and his lower body is deteriorating.

I'd bet the house that in a few years he will be trying to make a comeback

Reading between the lines it seems AD let the team know he was at least considering taking a year off. Borland leaving was more the left field variety.
