If they make the team better then why not.
I think Borland was convinced some time after reading League of Denial in 2013. He could have quit before free agency but that prob wouldn't have made as big of a storyline...

No way he comes back, but I'd bet anything he writes a book..

They are both too good to not welcome back. Too bad about Borland ... he was going to be something special.

Actually, he already was special but you do have a point. I think his shoulders were already being held on with pins and duct tape.
Maybe. If we suck at ILB and RT.

Would have been good to have him over whilhote and moody that's for sure.
Don't know why most of yall are so hard on AD...but I'm not surprised to be honest. Our fan base are full of female tendencies....

AD has some serious issues going on with him. I don't remember many linemen having so many concussions. If you are educated on the risks about prolonged head injuries...then why are yall giving Davis a hard time? All he is doing is giving his brain a break...not retiring for good or anything. Yes it was f**ked up that he came to that realization after the draft...but we don't know what was going on with him those final moments before his decision.

At the rate he was going he would've got another concussion anyway... probably shelving him for most of the season.... so atleast now he will have given his brain a full year off.
In regards to Boreland, the ESPN article basically presents him as an anti-NFL crusader, so, no, I don't see him ever coming back, lol
Borland probably no. AD yes because my hunch is he is worried about his concussion symptoms and figured he's young enough to take a year off and get healthy -who are we to argue that? dude knows his own brain an body.

LOL yeah. I tell you what. I wish Patrick Willis would get Bionic feet implants. That's the dude I miss. People don't realize how great he was.
Borland isn't coming back. Now if he would just shut up and go away already. Hard for me to say that stuff being a Wisconsin fan. Locked him there, loved it even more when we got him. Was planning to buy the kids jersey until the retirement craze struck.
No for all the obvious reasons that they quit once and who knows if they will do it again but really ask yourself what a guy, or numerous guys, waiting for the chance would think if you brought these guys back.

Most likely you plug em in in front of some people trying to earn there spot but if you say they have to start from the borrom then why the heck do you bring em back
