AD, as trade bait, and Borland because we are so thin at MLB....but I would trade him too, if we had more depth there.

Yep, and you know what is more dangerous than football? The military, and they make basically nothing compared to football players.

LOL yeah. I tell you what. I wish Patrick Willis would get Bionic feet implants. That's the dude I miss. People don't realize how great he was.
Everyone realizes how great he was ... lol.
Lol this. Who are you to say we don't realize how great he was? I'm pretty sure anyone who watched the Niners since 2007 would understand that Patrick Willis was the best MLB in the league

Borland is never coming back judging by his interviews.
AD I would take and trade immediately.

Anyone who voted "No" better prepare themselves for this next offseason when
Davis comes back...

His Dad is rich. He doesn't NEED football like most of these players do.

The worst part about Borland retiring early for me??
That instead of TAKING OUT WILSON, he was the one taken out.
If only he gave him a Clay Matthews like hit that rattled him into next Sunday I could say he did his thing.
At least Ray Mac's last game as a Niner he got to Wilson...twice I think. Was a good farewell.

Junior Seau might disagree with this statement, if he could.

AD is still young and full of potential.
My concern would be his weight and less than average pass protection.
IF he couldn't cut it at RT I think he'd be a top 5 RG.

To think people in the media actually called Borland's early retirement a brave move. How is quitting brave? And AD, well, his desire had been in question since he was drafted.
Let them go elsewhere and wish them well. We don't need that kind of disrespect and disfunction in the 49ers locker room.

AD? Hell yes. Young, talented, and said at the outset he just needed time to heal up.
Borland? Nope. I like the guy and respect him, but if he had those thought in his brain then he doesn't belong on the field for any team. Good for him for recognizing it.
