Aldrunk is very well rested after the arrest, the body has gone thru the healing part after training camp... he's gonna be more focus because he can't afford another drop of liquor in his body.. and with one season to prove what type of player he is.. heckkkkkkkkkk... he may just very well be ON TOP OF HIS GAME AND UNSTOPPABLE all year long!!!!!

I feel this way too, but I also feel the 9ers should've kept him and sent him back to rehab or something like that, that way no other team could touch him.

Forget about it, he will only be spending most of his time in rehab and being suspended than actually contributing on the field for us. Is time to move on. Draft a pass rusher next year.

Good for the 49ers, their decision just may save this guy's career...
Good for the Raiders giving him a 2nd chance & keeping him in the area around his support network
Good for Aldon get yourself back on track & don't waste your talent... If he hangs around he & guys like Tuck/Mack /MEJ could make this Raiders D something special for a long time to come.

I heard an interesting rumor as to what actually happened. Smith keeps saying it wasnt a DUI. I'm anxious to hear what Aldon says after all the court s**t blows over.

The lead up is long but I'm not making it up... whether its true or not I dont know, I'm just forwarding the story.

I was talking to an employee of mine, he said that his friends son is some DJ in the Bay Area. This DJ is friends with Aldon Smiths Girlfirend. Apparently Aldon Smith found out that Kaep was f**king his girl and so Aldon hit Kaeps car and left the scene.

Take it for what its worth, but remember that there was also a rumor that Kaepernick and Smith got into a fight at practice as well. Management had to choose between the two and chose to keep Kaep.

Yeah, I wish people would stop repeating this lame rumor. The owner of the car he hit has absolutely nothing to do with Kaepernick. If Aldon had manned up and offered to cover the damage plus a few extra dinero's on top, its unlikely that the police would have ever gotten involved.
