I'd take him back. Why not? Team has nothing to lose; Team sucks anyway, but he was the best player on an almost-SB team.
When you're down 35 points, you gotta just start chuckin' it hoping something good happens.
Plus, Kaepernick's not around to f**k his girlfriend any more, which is always good for morale.

I wouldn't care if they brought him in. Not that it is even a possibility but i said that because they guy pissed it all away. He was on a hall of fame trajectory and best sack artist ever and blew it

9 of Aldon's sacks in his best year came either when JSmith wasn't on the field or when he was rushing from the side JSmith wasn't on. Dude was a monster.

The Niners tried to help him multiple times and got nothing but grief because of it. A shame that his personal life is a struggle right now, but he only has himself to blame. I hope he finally gets the help he needs, and football shouldn't be a factor.

If he ever gets reinstated he will be, because the Raiders will immediately cut him if they still have him under contract at that point.

Just out of curiosity, is Aldon Smith still playing? If so, still a Raider? What a waste of talent!
I read something a few weeks back that family and friends were real worried about him. He'll never play again

You're wrong x a million. Like I said: he had 8 or 9 sacks (forget which) from the opposite side of JSmith or when JSmith wasn't on the field one season. Aldon was a monster.
