Agree, that's how people are. they respond to the same situation differently. Celeine Ferrel (Raiders new DE) is saying he's going to do things different from Aldon. POint is you are correct about the above. CC said no red flags coming out of college yet here he is - no different from Reuben Foster (in a sense) in terms of same results despite different back grounds.

That's why past history is a good indicator of a persons future, unfortunately. So Bosa - hopefully - will be Aldon without the Alcohol. And it's a big lesson to guys who have hopes for Reuben, that Reuben is pretty much going faster downhill than Aldon ever did.

The AS saga continues in a downward spiral...it's sad and getting worse. All that talent, but Aldon has to be a tortured soul. He just can't stay out of trouble. Foster's starting out the same way....another uber-talented player who just can't keep his head straight. There's a very good culture now on the Niners, and I'm sure they're going to be very careful to keep it that way. Still, sometimes things slip through the cracks. The scouting dept plays a key role in ferreting out potential character flaws...you can bet they'll be ever vigilant.

When I grew up there was a drunk in the neighborhood and he would play ball with us. He was out of it and would hit the ball a country mile. We found out he was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers and drank himself out of the big leagues.

Before I was pissed at this dude. I just feel bad for him now. He needs an intervention or he's dead in 5 years

i had a drunk who lived next to us. but he was cool as he used to kill chickens in his back yard and broil them. he would cut their heads off. then give the heads to my dog and mrs bojangles would play with them. and toss them around. so adorable! just let that image roll around in your head for a while!

System is going to let him kill himself or another before they do anything real about this.

You have to feel sorry for this guy. I know he let the team down but he's letting his friends and family down even more. His parents were or are teachers from what I remember so it's not like he came from a broken family. His illness must really be extreme; on the level of Daryl Strawberry and other greats who couldn't give up their addiction.
