That's actually a really good point. The Niners supported him through multiple bad decisions. If anything he should be loyal.

I don't get it. This is not 2012 Aldon Smith. It's a heavier, slower, older player.

Aldon joined Dallas last year bc of familiarity with Tomsula as a coach.

I highly doubt he would come here again.

He only had 2.5 more sacks in 7 more games than Jordan Willis had. I'm not against bringing in Smith but I think Willis can have more sacks given the opportunity.

As cc pointed out earlier this week, the word is that he is having issues again. Wish him well, doubt it will be with the niners

when hyder signed with seattle. for five seconds i thought about getting smith. then i self medicated and realized,,, this problem can be solved by getting a guy with the one or two pick... maybe there is a nice vet out there we could get for not a ton of money

For me it's Dunlap on a 1-yr deal...depends on money and whether he is looking to cash in a long-term deal

one year deals appears to be what we are doing very well this free agency so why not

I believe that 1 year signings are just moves that Lynch is doing in order to make it easier for MECO to call the D-plays he wants and .. I'm sure once he's adjusted to not being IMOTEPH's assistant (BENNIE), the team will start signing players that he hand picks..

1 or 2 really good games inflated his numbers. I know for sure he had 3 sacks in one game. Outside of that he was very inconsistent. Not anywhere near the Aldon Smith we knew.
