The reality of how much they overpaid Goff start in next year is starting to slap them in the face. No more cheap rookie contract. Now they actually have to balance the roster.

Had a chance to try and tackle GK on that 45 yard gainer on Sunday and made little effort. Dude didn't really want that smoke with the People's Tight End.

Dude's been making business decisions his entire career when it comes to tackling. He's more of what they call a finesse performer.

Even an UDFA like Moseley plays a hell of a lot harder than Peters. He has a nose for the ball, but if he doesn't have a shot at an INT, he doesn't even bother trying anything. I think he gave up over 200 yards in the TB game alone. This is a smart move by the Rams unfortunately.

So end of the day they trade Peters for Young and Colbert (they gave the browns a 5th for Colbert).

The ravens can recoup a comp pick in 2021 if they don't resign Peters.

What about Brandin Cooks? He was also dumped by two teams before he got through his rookie contracts.

The reality is the Rams are done based on their salary cap situation. They have many players becoming FA after this season and they can't keep most of them. They have decided they aren't paying Marcus Peters. Kenny Young is still early in his rookie deal, that is why the Rams wants him.

Considering what the Rams gave the Chiefs for Peters, he has been a VERY costly mistake.

There must be more to this story. Peters is a head case but he was playing very well this season.
