He's improving quite a bit and as long as he is doing well I don't think the draft pick is a bad one although last year I did
PFF grades are highly suspect, especially when it comes to slot/nickel CBs. Ward doesn't look as terrible like he did in year 1, so there is hope for him....
On Dec 21st, PFF said the Steelers were the best AFC team
We could have taken:
Jordan Matthews - looks legit in the mess of Philly
Bitonio who was a starting guard on Cleveland before getting hurt
And then lets not forget Bradley Roby, the actual CB that if my memory is correct was the WZ favorite to grab. He has played pretty well in Denver IMO.
To me the real comparison on if Ward was a good pick is comparing his career to Roby since they are playing the same spot. Personally, I think Roby has looked better.
