He does take too many chances in my opinion but he's young and his gambles have paid off more often than not. He made Marshall look like a shell of his former self yesterday.

Armstead may turn our to be a turd, he also may turn out to be pretty darned good, but picking Peters was a risk that this organization couldn't take in the aftermath of Aldon Smith and Ray McDonald. I think if people can come to terms with the context of unpredictable behavior in this organization, they will understand why a talent like Peters was passed on.
So then why did he draft Rashard Robinson? Is getting kicked off your team worse than burglary now?

Yup we have a bunch of solid to scrub DBs. Nobody special.
We let the hobbled hobbit and Baldwin light us up.

Also in that same year we drafted Aaron Lynch, who had more red flags then a Chinese courthouse.

probably. most in NT have convinced themselves that Peters is terrible, just to cope with the fact that we picked a bust over him.

Go back a few pages, all the Baalke lovers were trashing Peters after one game.

hmmm someone thinks Acker is better than Peters.
Probably why we traded him to the Chiefs so Acker can play behind Peters to teach him how to play

Strawman. If you re-read my argument, you'll see that it has to do with picking guys with checkered pasts in the first round, not the fourth or fifth round.
Lol moving the goal posts. Why should it matter where you take them. If they get in trouble it's all the same.

That argument never ever gets addressed. Because they aren't actually making arguments. They are just complaining.

How does Peters have a checkered past? He butted heads with a new coaching staff and took his talents to the NFL. Peters has never been in trouble with the law.

Clearly you're taking that comment out of context

I have no problem with the team taking chances on players that have attitude problems or police records with later round picks. With first round picks, when you're building a young team that has lost so many veterans, you want talented high character guys with your early picks. I'm pretty consistent with this argument, so unless you want to argue the point I am making, it's you moving the goal posts. With how often your posts misrepresent arguments, I'm not sure you understand what it means to move the goal posts.
You're assuming that Peters is a "low" character player and that the player we picked is a "high" character player.
I personally would prefer an arrogant confident player that thinks he is the best in the world over a play that I assume is soft (Armstead). Give me a fighter who competes over someone who dissapears.
To me, having a lot of fight and competitiveness = high character on your team.
