Outside of that, I didn't see Peters get beat for big plays. But maybe someone else saw it, I wasn't totally focused on the lop sided game.

Chiefs D is set up to defend the short/intermediate plays, and hope the pass rush forces the QB to throw early. Long/deep plays are a major vulnerability and they got lit up by Roeth being on fire deep.

They were mostly picking on DJ White (rookie), he couldn't defend anyone and gave up two TD's from what I saw at the bare minimum. Ben looked like vintage Ben last night unfortunately for the Chiefs secondary.

Yep the rookie got murdered.

They tried to test Peters with speed and got him once deep. He backed off on coverage and that was it. Then they picked on the other guys.

Man Big Ben really threw it short on that pass. The receiver was 3 steps past peters and had to come back for it. That was an easy TD if he hits him in stride.

yep, under threw it and gave Peters a chance on it

He probably should have picked that one off TBPH.

And Aldon Smith, whose pre-draft psych eval said he was a high risk for off-field trouble.

I'm sure Anthony Davis was a refined mature gentleman during the evaluation process.

His coach was a huge fan, lulz.

Baalke even let AD back after he was talking s**t about him and the team on twitter.

That's how terrible Baalke's managerial acumen is.

So, why not let him back? What did we have to lose? Nothing. Baalke took a gamble where the win was getting a good tackle back and the lose was, nothing. So maybe his managerial acumen is better than yours?

Lol I would hope so. He is a professional, after all.

Should have let him back, and then traded him right away lulz

I could never stand Anthony Davis lame ass immature attitude. The risk is he poisons the locker room. Team morale is a pretty big issue right now IMO

We let Davis take starting guard job and a few days before game one he bailed. All that work with the first team went to waste because he threw a fit. You think replacing a guard at the last minute doesn't effect the line? It does. Plus, it was a big distraction for the team, as if we needed anymore.

I would never re-hire a guy that talked smacked about me and the organization that I work for over and over again over twitter. Especially after the same player unexpectedly already bailed on me the year before. Especially when he had all those red flags in college.

I would hope his managerial acumen is better then mine. Its sad when you have to compare Baalke to random dudes online because if you compare him to competent GM's its laughable what Baalke has done.

When Davis came back I repeated over and over again in his thread that he is not to be trusted. And look what happened. And I have 1/1000 of the information Baalke does. Maybe my managerial instincts are better then Baalke. That is sad.

Hahaha yeah right. That was a 90 yard td if Ben doesn't throw it short. Collinsworth even says peters gave up 8 tds last year. Peters got smoked bad but you know at least he got some ints this year.

I am just looking forward to Robinson kicking ass at the corner back position and rarely getting beat. I think he has a chance to be one of the best corners in the league. At least our coaching staff is not stubborn like the previous ones to start rookies or inexperienced players.

Or maybe he will be a rag doll for giving up almost the most TDS yards and completions like peters did and if and when there is a phenomenally great pass rush, get some ints too, playing as a number 2 CB often and still getting destroyed.

But Robinson has no pass rush and just sticks to his man without help unlike other CBS that get burned all day. I think Robinson will be a better coverage CB but wont get the int numbers peters has bc he doesn't have a pass rush like kc

Now that's funny!!

Chiefs don't use a scheme that has a "#1 CB", they prefer to just have their corners play one side regardless. Peters always plays LCB, whether its the other team's #1 or #2. He went up against plenty of #1 WRs.

You should probably read up about him if you aren't watching him before attacking the player
