But Robinson has no pass rush and just sticks to his man without help unlike other CBS that get burned all day. I think Robinson will be a better coverage CB but wont get the int numbers peters has bc he doesn't have a pass rush like kc

Now that's funny!!

Chiefs don't use a scheme that has a "#1 CB", they prefer to just have their corners play one side regardless. Peters always plays LCB, whether its the other team's #1 or #2. He went up against plenty of #1 WRs.

You should probably read up about him if you aren't watching him before attacking the player

damn

The Chiefs cornerback has become the NFL's most dangerous cover artist just 19 games into his career
I didn't attack the player at all you should really read up on my post before making that claim. I am simply stating a fact that he was one of the most burned cornerbacks last year and got completely abused he did get some nice turnovers but that pass rush helped him more than he helped himself. This year he has had some good games but he's also been abused as well. So maybe you should watch the games because I have watched every Chiefs game I don't need to read up on their scheme to know he gets burned by number one or number two receivers. When the fact remains a player gets burned, he gets burned. Regardless of the scheme it could only help my argument that he has been abused to start his career. He does get turnovers though so I guess that outweighs all the negatives he has had. I still wanted to draft him so I do like him as a player but if he was on the Niners I think we would all want to bench him especially last year if he got burned that much on a great tremendous Kansas City defense imagine how bad he would've been on the Niners. So it's just common sense here folks.

You watch every Chiefs game but clearly don't know how their D plays and what Peters assignment is

I think that's says it all when it comes to your football knowledge

Man, you're infatuated with Peters. I guess there are two Webzone infatuations on the Chiefs: Captain Alex and Peters.

I guess you how absolutely zero knowledge and credibility when it comes to football. If a player gets beat he gets beat. It's the most simple thing in the world to see. He got smoked by Coates last week. REGARDLESS OF ASSIGNMENT, which obviously he was responsible for. I don't knock peters if it wasn't his responsibility so you are definitely high if you can't tell the difference between getting burned or busy trying to blame it on scheme or assignment.

My point which flew way over your head was if he is playing the primary wr, secondary wr, side of the field or whatever......is that he gets burned ALOT. So if you can't see that maybe watch every game he's been in and that should be undeniable.

Not at all. I think he will be a great CB if he doesn't gamble as much. I wanted him in the draft as my number one choice where we were picking, I just think he would be having even more trouble on the niners than the chiefs and many of us would be calling for his benching last year without a niners pass rush. I'm just glad we have Robinson this year

He got beat on Coates on a play, you are acting like Peters was destroyed by the Steelers and he wasn't. Steelers mostly targeted the other CBs.

A CB getting beat depends on a lot of factors, their assignment is sometimes to cover specific patterns or zones. So even if a WR catches a ball against a CB, it doesn't mean the CB did a bad job. Sometimes its a play call error, a miscommunication, or a weakness in the play design that's exploited.

You should read up on the Match-Up Zone coverage D that the Chiefs use to understand what Peters is doing:

I understand what you are saying but if that was a better thrown ball in was a 90 yard td so that can't be denied. He is a very inconsistent player but I still think he will be more consistent the less risks he takes

You're right. Too many people waste their time defending players that don't deserve defending. Just call a spade a spade.

Guys, being tied for the NFL lead in picks as a rookie, and then averaging a pick per a game in your 2nd year is actually really bad.

Peters also gave up 34 yards! 34 YARDS! That terrible. Who cares about picks and turnovers. Turnovers don't decide games!
Every time I hear Peters made another pick it makes lol at baalke and his fanboys even more.
