At this point yes but as of late Peters has been giving up a ton of yards, he gave up a 40 yard TD to Funchess and a 50 yard bomb to Lee the past two weeks. He's a playmaker but sometimes gets burnt when making a play same as in college.

Gonna get INTs but also gonna get burnt for yards and TDs.

Lol

Laugh all you want it's true dude. Yes he's a playmaker and gets INTs which is great but he also gives up big plays and TDs.

Does Richard Sherman ever give up yards ?

Very true. He gets turnovers but gets burnt quite a bit unlike shut down CBS like Sherman.
He was still my draft choice at 15 and then 17. On the niners though, he would be posterized without a pass rush

98% of CB's give up yards and td's. Give me one that in return makes big plays and wins games.
Sherman rarely gives up either
Same with Revis for years
Patrick Peterson is like an upgraded version of peters
He's a young player so you'd expect giving up plays. Another reason he gives up plays is his style is very aggressive. That's why he's able to be a playmaker.

People give scrubs on our team years and years to even show some sign of a good player but try to downplay Peters' very impressive accomplishments. Sure he could end up messing up his career or be a guy who continuously gets burned, but so far so good. We don't have many impact players and Peters is one of those.

Another Baalke miss.

Actually no he doesn't

Yes he makes plays no doubt, but he also gives up more yards and big plays then you want...if Jimmy Ward got a INT in one series then get's burnt for a 50 TD in the next series people (and you know who you are) would be roasting him.

a good CB get's turnover a great CB doesn't give up big plays AND get's turnovers.

You must not watch seahawks games.

Oh I liked Peters coming into the draft and wouldn't have been mad if he was the pick (go check out his thread I was all about him)...at that time we needed help at DL more and I didn't think they'd invest a high draft pick on a kid that got kicked out of school.

FYI I'm not hating on Peters at all but just because he get's INTs doesn't give him a pass for giving up big yard plays and TDs. He's a aggressive CB that will make plays but when trying to make those plays will get burnt as well which can be a issue.

No I do....I'll take Sherman (as much as I hate him) over Peters any day. We will see how Peters plays against Evans this week
