Armstead + Bell + Chargers high 5th (darn near 4th) > Darby > Peters

You still think this ?

Probably. These guys never learn. Check that, cciowa eventually saw the light.

God no...hilarious. I was just posting to NY today on the topic of comparing draft picks 3 years later, and used the Peters example to illustrate it.

Uhhhh, yeah, Peters is light years better than all 3 combined. I understood the rationale to avoid potential drama with Peters but for Armstead? For a guy who's 6'7" that we asked to lose 20 pounds and be a LEO? Now that is worth laughing at!!!

What did the Chargers 5th end up being?

Imagine if we had taken Peters instead of Armstead, Kelce instead of McDonald, and Dak Prescott instead of Rashard Robinson. These were all popular webzone choices at the time...

Seriously, but in reality, Peters would have revolted because he'd get 3 pick-6's a game and we'd still lose by 3 TD's, Kelce would have been turned into a blocking TE and Kelly would have turned Dak into an inside zone RB.

Yeah, if only the FO would have listened to posters calling for Baalke's firing three years ago

He's still awesome. And we are lucky to have a professional internet poster like that on this forum.

This is not hyperbole. It's 100% true.
it is a hyperbole. MD knows his s**t, that's for sure. But his picks would not made us that much better, if at all.

if I wanted to destroy a team by being horribly wrong about everything he'd be the first person I'd go to. Such a shame the Baalke thread got deleted with zero explanation, would be great for some laughs.

He's a good player, but a punk.

So far, not a good game...at all. Still immature too, obviously.
