The fact is that the Rams have gotten better this offseason and we haven't. We're the ones that are trying to catch up to them, but this move has only widened the gap. Jimmy already threw 2 picks against them without Peters, how many is he going to throw now? This whole thing is just frustrating after it had looked like we might be returning to respectability and now we're dropping the ball.

No way he was worth the 1 (if that's true)

The last 5 on your list can't hold his jock strap.

Considering your love of PFF it's funny to see you say that...

As I said, interceptions are great but a top flight corner doesn't get thrown at...end of story.

I look forward to Jimmy torching his ass on the regular.

THE NFL OFFSEASON STARTS IN MID MARCH.

Stop it.

Trumaine Johnson. Come on down.

I'd be ok with this.

This news tells me a couple of things... the Niners are willing to trade for a top CB and they don't mind using cash to invest in a top CB.

Pathetic that our FO just sits on their hands while our rivals continually make moves to get better. The only time we ever do anything newsworthy is when one of our players gets arrested.

where have you been the last six months under a rock. you do realize we signed our franchise quarterback and are in great shape to take care of business in free agency and the draft. you must be having a balke flash back

FA and Draft are still coming. Plus we signed Jimmy long term. That is still the best move.

He's going to throw 10 picks against them per game now. Good call. This offseason is nearly over and we've done nothing but sign our franchise QB to an extension. Should fire Lynch now.

Have to imagine the Rams were willing to use their 1st when the Niners, obviously wouldn't. Either that, or just a dumb amount of high future picks. Rams don't have a 2nd this year. Has to be some special comp with that in mind.

Funny you mention Lattimore. You spent all year trying to say Solomon was the better pick.
1. Its a good move for the rams

2. Missing out on him does not reflect poorly on the niners

3. #'s 1 and 2 arent mutually exclusive

Yup. They are all-in on a CB. Will be big players for the top FA CB in their mind.

Trumaine Johnson or Malcolm Butler. You're up!
