FA has not even begun and the draft is still to come. They made a trade for a player that we did not, possibly because we were not willing to meet the Chiefs demands for the compensation. IMHO you are overreacting. We have gotten better IMO, by getting a long term deal done with our QB it means we no longer have to worry about that and it sends out a signal that the 49ers are not afraid to pay for talent.
In no way does what the Rams did mean we dropped the ball. Games are won on the field not in the offseason. We have the money and draft capital at our disposal to improve this roster and I am sure we will make some moves to do so.
