Don't like the main competition getting stronger but congratulations to the Rams for making the moves to remain the best in the West. We cannot match their defense now but we can boost the offense to attack that defense with adding to the OL, WR, TE, and RB positions.

Truth bothers you?

In what world is Peters a top 5 corner?

Name the top 5 corners in the nfl

It is all subjective so YOU would argue top 5. I would argue top 10.

Here are mine:

1. Ramsay
2. Rhodes (healthy)
3. Bouye
4. Sherman (healthy)
5. Peterson

Rhodes and Sherman (I really dislike him so it hurts putting him on this list) weren't healthy all season and didn't play like they normally would.

Scroll back and you'll see the guys I posted who are better than him.

Eh if they lose Joiner their safeties aren't great and their linebackers are below average. Donald and Peters with a lot of potential question marks.

Probably didn't want to trade too much for him

Nice list for sure and yes I would argue that peters is better than bouye either way it's splitting hairs. Peters is a legit high quality corner still on his rookie deal. Would have been nice to have him. I will reserve my judgement when we see what he would have cost us.

I didn't even have Sherman on my list just because I think he's done after the achilles injury

The Jags duo are easily better
Patrick Peterson
Marshon Lattimore i'd already have up over him
Chris Harris and Talib even though he's on the decline
Jimmy Smith was balling before getting hurt this year
Casey Hayward is doing work with the Chargers
Rhodes is a stud
William Jackson and Darius Slay are rising fast

Agree
I see patrick peterson get beat quite a bit whenever i see him play. If marcus peters is gonna be held to some high standard, then everyone should when we talking ranking top guys. Same with injuries, availability is a big thing. Cant be i like player x more if hes healthy.
Big difference between trading pick 9 and pick what 23?

Better be right on him otherwise they end up like Seattle with Percy. No first and second to show for 2018 if Sammy walks.

Sure availability is important but are we also counting reliability?

Once again I find it hard to believe that a team who sees him as a top 5 corner would trade him with 2 years left on his rookie deal.

Exactly, especially when u have no early 2. U have no shot if a team is willing to deal a late 1

He's also someone who is traded with 2 seasons(including 5th year option) on his rookie deal. What team trades a top 5 player before his rookie season runs out if they felt he was a top 5 player and didn't have a lot of extra baggage?

Maybe a change of scenery is what Peters needs but considering our issues with Foster adding a guy like Peters for some serious trade compensation(we'll see the specifics) IMO doesn't make sense for US. And what we do is what I care about.

Peters is overrated because of his interceptions. I guess everyone forgets what we experienced all year with our corners getting flagged non stop? Peters makes some great plays and then turns around and gives up a huge one. I'd have no issues with us bringing him in for a day 3 pick but the situation and compensation we're hearing doesn't make any sense.

Do you believe this drivel you post?

So along with his 19 INT's Per @NFLResearch, since Marcus Peters entered the league in 2015 no player has more interceptions (19) or passes defensed (55), and his 51.9 completion % allowed is the 5th best.

Just stop already.
