Peters is a good football player, unfortunately has the brains of Winnie the Pooh tho.

Nah, It's just a bunch of Niners homers who can't admit we missed out on a sure-fire stud CB to our rivals. In their eyes, "it's all good, we don't need him anyways. He's not even top 5 and no different than Rashard Robinson." Their tune will change when he tears it up in Wade's defense.

SMH

Just admit it. Lynch blew it on this one.

WTFE dude....well, so did 30 other GMs and teams if you think that highly of Peters.

How is Marcus Peters any different from Rashard Robinson? They both don't follow coaching and both get burnt as often as they get picks. I never understood why we would have any interest.

Yeah no. Peters is what we had hyped RR to be in the preseason. Completely different level of players

30 other teams either have CB depth or don't have the draft capital to make the move. I don't care about 30 other teams. I care about this team and what Lynch is doing to make this team better.

yeah if he goes on to have an amazing season but in the middle of that he punches mcvay or poor wade during one of his tirades, i don't care if hes good. We're already having to deal with Reuebens off the field madness, don't need an on the field one.

I literally said this like 10 pages ago.

The narrative was already there for both sides to make sure Lynch could get lynched. There was no winning this for us lol

It's ridiculous. Offseason hasn't technically even started yet as far as the new league year and people are already b***hing that we're not doing enough.

Sometimes I can't stand this fanbase...

fans are really feeding into the hype. thats why unless we do something amazing people will be disappointed this offseason no matter what we do.

People better get ready to be disappointed because other than signing Grop, I really don't see any more "BIG" signings coming. I dream of Robinson, Jensen etc, but I do not think it's gonna happen. I think it's highly likely the team rolls forward a large chunk of this years cap to next.

Off the top of my head I'd say the difference is 19 INT, 50+ PD, 2 pro bowls and 1 all pro vs. 2 INT and not much else
Does anyone know what the Rams gave up for him yet? How is anyone saying this was a good or bad trade without knowing that piece?

And for anyone saying Peters is not elite, you're not watching. He's as good as it gets. That being said, I don't think we're a great fit. We're already up to our knees in Reuben Foster's nonsense. Peters has massive character concerns and is from Oakland originally. Probably not a great idea to surround him with *potentially* bad influences.

That being said, I would have rolled the dice for a 4th (maybe a 3rd). Nothing more than that though.
