This. Jackson definitely option A for me.

I'll take the proven NFL guy.

I'll agree mainly because we are so bare at CB that we NEED to get a proven NFL guy in FA as we have the money to do it. Plus I don't want us to be forced to take Ward/Jackson if we like someone else better just because we didn't upgrade CB in FA.

Doing so makes Jackson less of a priority if we get a Johnson/Fuller/Melvin, and I want one of them. I just really like Jackson as a prospect. Im just as fine with Roquan. Just give me defensive upgrades at CB, LB, DE and G this offseason and I'll be happy.

And for anyone saying Peters is not elite, you're not watching. He's as good as it gets. That being said, I don't think we're a great fit. We're already up to our knees in Reuben Foster's nonsense. Peters has massive character concerns and is from Oakland originally. Probably not a great idea to surround him with *potentially* bad influences.

That being said, I would have rolled the dice for a 4th (maybe a 3rd). Nothing more than that though.

I bet they gave up their 1st round pick. They don't have a 2nd.
wasn't planning on browsing the forums today. But this is fun lol

Nah, It's just a bunch of Niners homers who can't admit we missed out on a sure-fire stud CB to our rivals. In their eyes, "it's all good, we don't need him anyways. He's not even top 5 and no different than Rashard Robinson." Their tune will change when he tears it up in Wade's defense.

SMH

Just admit it. Lynch blew it on this one.

Lynch and 20-25 other gm's apparently. There's a reason why only the Rams, Niners and Browns are reported to have interest. Why don't you chill with your chicken little take until it becomes clear?

How so? Because of a difference in opinion?

I thought you didn't agree that a difference of opinion is possible...just lies if it doesn't fit your view?

People really think this? LOL Donald has a chance to be the best interior d-linemen of all time. What has AA done? Shown flashes of his potential?

Well the Rams don't own a 2018 second round pick. So....?

-The GM who drafted him in KC and who has a need, a ton of cap space and a bevy of draft picks could have had him if he truly wanted him. But he did not.

-Reid and Veach decided to ship him out now when he has 2 years left on his rookie deal.

-No other known team beyond the Rams seemed to be seriously interested.

Red flags abound about his character yet a few fans want to throw Lynch under a bus for reportedly having lukewarm interest and passing.

I don't think anyone is like that honestly.

Um, yes.

I don't want my sarcasm to be confused with an actual statement. I think AA is worth about 2 bags of big league bubble chew gum.

Purple? IF you're talking about the purple big league chew im thinking you may assign too much value to AA and his potential contributions....
I think we eventually make a trade for Talib this offseason
