I feel like an opinion has to have some supporting polemic. There is absolutely no one here or anywhere that knows anything about football who would agree with you. Period. Nothing personal. Just saying.
This is a great addition for the Rams if he stays out of trouble. I dislike the guy a lot but he's probably the best CB in the NFL.

Come on now. Don't upset these guys. "He's not even Top 5 and will be headcase for the Rams" (LOL)

What are you like 12? Get over it and stop trying to incite. So people disagree with you. So what? Does it hurt your ego that much that you can't just let it drop? W A I T and S E E.......

If he ends up being dominant for the Rams in 18 then you can say I told you so.

And for anyone saying Peters is not elite, you're not watching. He's as good as it gets. That being said, I don't think we're a great fit. We're already up to our knees in Reuben Foster's nonsense. Peters has massive character concerns and is from Oakland originally. Probably not a great idea to surround him with *potentially* bad influences.

That being said, I would have rolled the dice for a 4th (maybe a 3rd). Nothing more than that though.

Because there arent enough draft picks in the world to justify trading an elite cornerback with 2 years left on his rookie deal.

Point taken. I just know he'll be a stud. And am upset we didn't offer enough to make it happen. And if the Rams weren't in our division, I'd be less pissed.

Sounds like the Rams were the only team really pursing him so it could end up being surprising....a 3rd round pick?

We shredded Jalen Ramsey and Bouye. Don't concern yourself with him being within the division

If Andy Reid doesn't want to deal with the guy, you know it has to be bad. Plus, Lynch is already having to salvage the Foster debacle, no way we were going to trade for Peters whichever way you slice it, not to mention the truckload of picks that was going to cost. Is simple common sense.

Now, let's concentrate on the non-head cases cornerbacks, there should be a ton of them hitting free agency. Borrowing a phrase from Aaron Rodgers, "relax".

Not just Reid... Rapaport said both Dorsey (who was the GM that drafted him) and Ballard (who was in that FO when he was drafted) were reached out to. And both passed over the opportunity.

The only team with serious interest was the Rams.

Well the Rams don't own a 2018 second round pick. So....?
So was probably a 3rd...but still could be something ridiculous like a 1st or a 3rd + 2019 2nd. We have no idea...
