CB Marcus Peters (+0.5) had one of those games when someone looking at the box score could think he was absolutely dominant, possibly the best player on the field. However....

Also Peters is 2nd in most receptions allowed (66), Yards allowed (903) and TD's allowed (7)....with a pass rush in front of him that has the 3rd most sacks in the league.

Lol, two picks, a TD, a pass defense and only allowed four catches with the majority during garbage time and he gets 0.5.

Reminds me of the time when Rodgers had five TD's and got like a 1.1 on PFF.

The issue and what PFF puts into account is he was out of place a lot and behind his WR but 3-stringer Clausen couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. The INTs are good no doubt but being 2nd in the league in allowed receptions, yards allowed and TDs isn't very good also throw in the stout pass rush in KC.

71 of the 86 yards came while the Ravens were still in the game (down by 10 or less) and both were big chunk plays a 30 yarder and a 41 yarder. So no, majority was not in garbage time.

If the 9ers would've chosen Peters it would've been a good pick no doubt, but even though the numbers don't really show it Armstead was a good pick too.
If the 49ers would have taken Peters it would have ruined his career. He's lucky they passed on him.

Sus, Peters is a damn good rookie playing in the second hardest position in football. A keeper and will be better next year. I think he has pro bowl talent. A East Bay kid (I'm from Hayward so I may be biased). Although, he was getting roasted by Aiken in the game. They were picking on him surprisingly. On the pick he returned, the WR actually slipped which led to an easy INT for Peters as he was sitting in zone coverage. Although, he did break on the ball pretty well. Deceiving game if you didn't' watch it.

But yes, I'm in the camp of fans that would LOVE to have Peters.

Yah he has really made some plays it should probably earn him a pro bowl spot. I just wished we had drafted him instead of that worthless bum Armstead who cant even play a complete game because he's so fat and out of shape.

Nah bro, he only got a 0.5 according to PFF despite everything he did well yesterday so he clearly is a "bum."

I know peters was bad, but damn dint know he was absolute trash. He should count his blessing he plays with that front 7, and has played a bunch of s**t tier qb's to get those interceptions.

Nice job KRS-1
What do you have to say to this peters lovers? I would not want to have a guy taking it up the ass that much WITH one of the best pass rushes in the league and another CB Sean smith that often takes on number 1 wrs. Also most all of peters ints were thrown right to him and easy easy picks.

I did want peters with the niners first pick and believe he will improve but I am very happy with who Baalke drafted. I think both will have very good careers but if we had peters this year we would be pretty pissed at how much he sucked on the niners without a pass rush. He would be the WORST CB in the league in yards receptions tds allowed and possibly rating with a lot less than 7 ints. So.......who the bum now???
