I would imagine some of it has to do with the fact its just a trade thats been agreed to. It hasnt actually been executed and cant be for a little bit. I know the terms of the alex smith trade were made public but the teams arent under any obligation to say anything right now.

I live in Chief territory and read the Rams requested the details not be made public since the trade can't be closed yet. Local sports radio is taking that as an indication the Rams are concerned they could still be outbid, hence the deal must not be that great. I have no idea if they're right, but it's fun to watch the fans squirm.

We very well could look back and kick ourselves for missing out on an opportunity to land a talented corner who needed a change of scenery to get his life in order and go on to be a HOF level player for the Rams.

Or we could be laughing at the Rams as the guy completely fuks them over in games with hot/cold play and tears apart their locker room and takes away the credibility of the coaching staff and front office.

Of course there are no guarantees in life but nothing wrong with taking your shots.

Go on to be? Peters is on the Hall of Fame track already. He doesnt need to "get his life in order" to go on to be a HOF level player. He is already that with all of the problems you guys feel he has.

He got traded with 2 years on his rookie contract and has played 3 years in the NFL. Pump your breaks a little.

If he doesn't get his life in order he's not making it long enough to get into the HOF.

WTF. I can't believe the Rams stole him like that. We should have made that trade if that's all they had to give up. SMH

Lol do eveyone that thought peters was gonna cost multiple 1sts...what's crazy is that no one was really throwing out offers. I mean Ballard and Dorsey didn't even try to move for him, that's telling

Peters might have some inside the locker room type issues going on. Hope this move really hurts the Rams down the road.
