Rams are in trouble in a few years when they have to pay all these guys.

Well obviously KC couldn't get more for him and it makes you really wonder about this guys character if Andy Reid is willing to let him go and let him go for not a whole lot. He's a hell of a player but I think he has serious character issues and will now be roaming the L.A night clubs

The #Chiefs traded CB Marcus Peters to the #Rams for a 2018 fourth round pick and a 2019 2nd round pick, sources say. The deal can't be official until the league year begins.

Lmfao. Thanks Lynch! Got burned by division rivals.

WTF. I can't believe the Rams stole him like that. We should have made that trade if that's all they had to give up. SMH

Why didn't Dorsey or Ballard (who drafted him) even throw out an offer? They both need CBs, imo that's a red flag if they didn't even try.

Peters might have some inside the locker room type issues going on. Hope this move really hurts the Rams down the road.

Yep and they will have to pay him soon as well. I think he will ball hard for them for a year or two and get paid and then be a major problem. They have to pay Gurley as well and next thing you know Goff will be up for a new deal. They are making their run now it looks like.

Kid is bi-polar pass
We need to call right now and offer pick #70 and next year's 2nd/3rd depending on if we win the division. The deal isn't official yet.

U do that all day if ur the rams
Shanny and Jimmy G gonna ice this fool. Slants and curls to open the game, double moves in the 3rd Q for Touchdown. I'm not scared of Marcus Peters. Its the other teams the Rams play who don't have quarterbacks who should be scared of Peters.

Anyone bashing the niners for not making this trade need to let the above sink in.

Dorsey drafted Peters with KC so if anyone likes him it would be the guy who actually drafted him into the NFL.

Cleveland has 2 1st round picks(top 4), 3 2nd round picks, First pick in the 3rd round, 2 4th round picks, 2 5th round picks and their own 6th and 7th round picks which of course are 1st in that round.

And they certainly don't have a loaded secondary and have a legit need at CB.

They didn't even make an offer.

You can argue whether or not the guy is a top 5, top 10, top 15 CB all you want, I think we can all agree he's a very talented kid but how does even a top 15 corner with 2 years on his rookie deal only get trade offers from 1 team?
Lol at anyone that doesn't think this is a great trade for the Rams.
Rams look like they are going all in for next season. Will probably franchise him next year. Their salary cap situation is going to suck in 2 years. Hopefully they have their own Paraag

For real man, regardless of how good he is the fact that multiple GMs who were part of drafting him didn't even sniff at him is a huge red flag imo.
A story out of KC this morning says Peters requested a trade after the Titans game. Also there were other "Monday through Saturday" issues that were problematic. All of those, plus the fact his contract would be up in a year, led them to make the deal now as he would get a higher return now than in a contract year when other teams would rather wait than unload a truckload of picks/players at the Chiefs door.
