Proof of this?

Its becuase the niners didn't trade for him. Had we gotten him then he would have been a misunderstood passionate competitor.

Yup!

Nope that's how sus rolls. Peters comes in and he'll proclaim we gave up too much lol.

Per a report from Matt Miller after he spoke to a SF executive about Peters they stated that he was bi-polar with street ties to Oakland. He wasn't an option because of this.

Throw in no other team was willing to trade for him including Dorsey or Ballard that's an issue, Also Andy Reid who's been know to handle/draft red flag players had enough and moved on from him...those are issues regardless of talent.

We already have a knucklehead in the locker room.
100%. And then say "let's talk about the team.." Either way, glad we have fans at least passionate enough to talk about the team

Not going to pump the breaks at all. And yes, I am aware he has only played 3 seasons. But he has played those 3 seasons at a higher level than anyone who has ever played the position. Not sure why saying a player is on the Hall of Fame track is something that needs to have the breaks pumped.

And I find your comparison and anyone elses comparison to Aldon Smith to be laughable and completely off base.

Your choice but IMO you're high if you think the bold is true.

Name a cornerback who has started his career with 3 better seasons.

Id use the "I'll wait" line, but I dont want to die before you can come up with an answer.

Lol at anyone that doesn't think this is a great trade for the Rams.

I mean they were basically bidding vs KC not one other team was really even in it...even two teams that have GMs that were in that draft room didn't sniff at him.

If Andy Reid is cool with that compensation, that's another red flag...glad we didn't make the move.

A two-time pro-bowler, DROTY and two-time all-pro for a 4th and next year's 2nd? I'd take that literally all day every day. Smart move by the Rams, no doubt about it.

30 out of 31 NFL GM's did not take that deal. Speaks volumes.
Admittedly I'm salty AF that the Rams got this talent, character issues aside. I want us to draft Josh Jackson even more now as I believe he will be the ball hawk that Peters has been without the character concerns

3 better seasons in what way? Interceptions?

Hell even interceptions wise Richard Sherman had a better start to his career. Jalen Ramsey is about to do the same. I'd put Ronnie Lott right up there as well. Darrell Green. Revis and several others.
If u dont want guys on the niners with character issues, thats fine. Still a good move for the rams tho, especially with keeping their 1st

And 30 out of 31 NFL GM's didn't win the Super Bowl last year, your point being?

Yeah could turn into a great trade for him. Could also be a bad one.

It's crazy that with all that stuff you said he's done, not one other team in the whole league even put out a trade. It's crazy to me that Reid was totally fine moving on from him. It's crazy that two GMs that have a huge need at CB and both were in that draft room said no thanks.

We will see

This, thread is so hilariously short-sighted. If Lynch made this move everyone in NT would be raving about it. It's like it's almost impossible to give a division rival any credit whatsoever for making their team better.

Lol what does mean or how does that apply to what evil is stating?

Sure, it could work out either way. But giving up a 4th and a 2nd for a guy with that many accolades is never a bad risk. Especially for a team as talented as the Rams are.

Just because the majority of GMs don't do something, doesn't validate or invalidate the move.

Rational people would take the wait and see approach. There's no questioning the kid's talent but only blind fools can't see there are issues at play here.

I mean some people in here are putting him in the HOF pretty much already, saying he's had the best start of a career as a corner than any player in the history of the sport for crying out loud...and 1 team traded for him with 2 years left on his rookie deal.

Clearly all the other GMs are fools but the webzoners know how stupid Lynch is for not making the deal and how brilliant Snead is for doing the deal.

I think he is making fun of the way he stated it

Only one team could make the deal or win SB

Evil probably meant only one team was dealing for him at all
