Yup just as we thought when we scouted this player for the niners. But it's okay because Armstead is solid I'm sure he'll make all pro.

It feels so good to be vindicated. Knowing I could do baalke's job better than him.

LOL. Congrats to Peters. For every ESPN highlight INT he gets, he gives up a TD...but those aren't shown, are they? But all you need in the secondary these days are the key voting stats...6-8 INT's and you're in. We also had a rookie Reid who went to a pro bowl and Niner fans hate him too so to each his own, I guess. LOL.

AA will probably NEVER go to a pro bowl as there are so many great DL now and unless our D becomes top 5, doubt he'd ever get the recognition Justin Smith got despite 3-4 DE stats (low stats for fan voting).

But Peters is off to a "visible" career and that should carry him for a while. It's not going to be a measuring stick for AA here though. PFF or another means may be able to more accurately capture his importance here.

CB Marcus Peters (+0.5) had one of those games when someone looking at the box score could think he was absolutely dominant, possibly the best player on the field. However....

meh those were gabbart time stats. no1curr

Yup extensive film study and analysis.

I've seen enough opposition throwing double teams on AA to know that teams see him as a threat. The kid can ball. If he stays focused and hungry he could be among the best.

Trader Trent can draft defense. It's the offensive draft picks I'm worried about.

Trent's a good scout. Especially on defense (maybe only on defense). I think he was McCloughan's primary scout. But being a GM is more than that and Baalke struggles with others aspects. In particular, communication and people skills.

It is the second hardest position in the NFL as evidenced by peters getting b***hed by qbs allowing the SECOND most yards tds and his rating against qbs is bad as is his PFF ranking. just bc he got some incredibly easy ints WITH a terrific pass rush doesn't fool real football evaluators that would lose their s**t if you told us......Baalke drafted a rookie CB that gave up the second most yards tds and a bad qb rating completions and gets picked on. We would call him anbaalke bust that made some easy plays with no pass rush. If he were on the niners with no pass rush he would easily be LAST among those categories and easily have less ints. Let's not forget Sean smith often covers the opposing teams best wr.

So we deserve to gloat a little bit as well. Hell I guess if ginn was named to the probowl he would have to be considered very good too and among the best????

Props all of us who like the AA pick

Congrats to Peters, susswel and ChazBoner but I don't think that he should have made into the pro bowl because for each big play he had, he gave a big play to the other team while other more consistent players didn't made it.
