I believe they made an offer but was outbid. Nothing wrong that but at least don't lie to us.

#49ers looked at possibility of trading for Marcus Peters, but am told they did not make offer. Given their roster situation, it seems they are checking into every available cornerback.

We didn't offer. We were just one of the few teams that said "That's cool. Let me think about it and I'll get back to you."

Man smh it's not like CB is the biggest need right now and Peters isn't the top CB in the league

Top players don't get suspended by their own team that's fighting for a playoff spot. They won the game he sat after losing the game he quit during btw. He's talented but was apparently a headache for the coaches.
