I stopped watching the game midway through the 3rd quarter. This was bad. And I know most won't agree, and that's fine. But I now see NFL officiating like the NBA and MLB. There was a desired outcome and the NFL got it. And nobody's gonna tell me that penalties don't matter. The game I saw the better team got handcuffed, and it'd shameful. The Denver players weren't the only one's no letting Payton lose this game.
Hey man. The crap happened to us to. CAR fans were warned bro
Yeah, a large part of me is on a big "I told you so" trip.

Did you by any chance come to the Webzone after the 9ers Super Bowl loss? The Crabtree play on 4th and goal? You can't call another fan base sore losers.

Your handle is pretty disturbing

SisterFister:

I don't notice anything egregious with the officiating. It was the typical performance by the officials. A few questionable calls going against both teams.

Ones that stick out was the Panthers 1st challenge. Looked like Cotchery juggled, but caught the ball. Refs called incomplete. Would have been a big play.

Other one was Denver getting called for unaccessary roughness for a hit on Cam running downfield. It was a legal hit, he's a runner and was not down. Horrific call. The football gods made it right on the next play tho, Tolbert fumbled the ball back to Denver.

Other than that, nothing terrible by the refs. Panthers lost because they couldn't block Denvers front. Von Miller and Demarcus Ware were on a mission.

Yeah that late hit call was terrible. I think they wanted to throw the flag because he got hit too hard.

Was Peytons performance the worst ever by a Super Bowl winner?

This guy has something to say about that

Elways was the worst- 12-22 123yrds 0TD 1INT
Anybody think that with Cam's late fumble, that it could have been seen as a forward pass (incomplete)? Looked to me like his hand was moving forward, as did the ball. I think that's why cam didn't dive for the fumble.

Any clips or Gifs of the play?
And that sack-fumble that went for a TD, Miller hits Cam in the head with his hand before stripping the ball. A different team would have been flagged for that. Seen it called on the Niners before. Athletic, mobile QBS are hung out to dry in this league. Cam got roughed up, and most of it was legal, but there are a few plays where if Peyton is taking that hit instead of Cam, then the laundry is flying.

Not even close to being an incomplete pass.

Yeah they definitely threw it because he got hit hard and he's a QB. Shouldn't matter what position he plays though, once he crosses the LOS all bets are off, he's declared himself a runner.
Panther lost fair and square

It wasn't even a blow out for the panthers. They had plenty of time to catch up and they failed so boo whooo to them. No excuses.
