I'm here. Just because I didn't want to see the Pats win doesn't mean I'm a Rams fan. I don't like either team but I do respect what Belichick has done in NE.

They were gifted a spot in the SB when it all likelihood it was NO's year
The other teams in the NFC playoffs were mainly relative newcomers (Bears), teams who weren't expected to be there/overachievers (Cowboys/Seahawks), and the Eagles who made a late push and squeaked in to defend their title
The perennials and tough, cold weather cities like GB and Minny had down years...and even this year the path for the Rams involved only a home game in SoCal and two dome games. They're in for a rude awakening if they think it'll be that easy again. Only times in my life i've seen a west coast team overcome inclement weather AND a hostile environment to win on the road in the playoffs were both Niners: Chicago in '88 NFCCG and Green Bay in the '13 wild card. Every other time, a CA team almost always has a rough time with a cold, road game in the playoffs.
They'll have less depth next season, every team will have another year's worth of tape on them, and in the NFC they'll have the target on their backs. Seattle as long they have have Carroll as HC appear to be perennials to challenge them (both games in this past season were close, just one win might've at least knocked the Rams from a playoff BYE). You can bet a coach like Pete will use the defensive blueprints Lord Fangio and Bellichick provided next time around. We know the Niners woes and hard luck, but if the NFCW they are THE team who'd love nothing more than to dethrone LA (in addition to Shanahan wanting to show McVay how it's done). Cards (lol)?
Their nightmare worst-case scenario next season:
Cards: sweep
Niners: split
Seahwakcs: split*
vs Saints L (REVENGE game)*
vs Bucs W
vs Ravens L
vs Bengals W (in London)
vs Bears L*
@ Falcons L (cursed/bad memories stadium for them)
@ Panthers L (hot weather, east coast 10 am game)
@ Browns W
@ Cowboys L (revenge game)*
@ Steelers L (another 10am game)
* = prime time games, with prob a couple more (at least at first)
7-9
Big if is when we see how the NFL schedules these games. If they get tough east coast games back to back (or after a MNF game), or either Carolina early in the year/CLE or PIT late in the year we'll know the league will want them to "earn" another playoff berth and prove themselves
If they get a cupcake, favorable schedule then they'll be the insufferable media "darlings" like many of us dread would happen to an LA team

I guess the Rams will have to go back to sweeping y'all again next year. Not so bad really. We "may" lose Suh and Fowler, but that's about it. Plenty of talent to continue the SF sweep (unless it's week 17 and we don't really need to win). 😂😂
Glad you guys rode that Brady coattail to "beat" us.

The best thing is seeing fans of sorry teams ride the coattails of other legendary teams like the Pats. I get it. You can't get it done so hop on the first erection you see. I'm sure you guys saw plenty of that when y'all were good. Don't be that person.

At least Rams fans will have a great new stadium in a couple of years that they can NOT fill every week. Amazing what $5 billion will buy. LA fans are so soft it rubs off on their teams. Did you hear the difference in the crowd between Rams and Patriots fans. I know it's closer for Pats fans but not that much. After not having a team for 20 years and then to give them that weak support is really sad. They are known for not showing up for games even thought hey have that huge population. Maybe it's just too hard to get to the games because of traffic which is why they leave baseball games early. But they will have a beautiful stadium. Maybe they can have dancing with the stars there.

It's over for the Rams. The attempt to buy a Super Bowl to jump start their return to LA failed. They are unlikely to be going back any time soon.

Screw both teams. But how sad are you that you have to come to another team's website to vent some of your anger? Your team performed abysmally, way worse than the worst 49ers Super Bowl. Next year we get our starters back from I/r and nice high draft picks. So I wouldn't count on a sweep. Try to show a little class if you insist on coming back here.
